The hourly pay rate for this position is $19.00 - $23.00 per hour, based on experience, certifications, licensure, education, and location.

Dr. Domotor's Animal House is a long-standing general practice hospital with deep ties to the community, located in beautiful Monrovia, California. Our 3-doctor hospital provides quality medicine while striving to make an impact in our community and treat our patients/clients like family.

Who We're Looking For

We are currently looking to hire an Experienced Part - Time Veterinary Assistant to join our team! The ideal candidate will be a dependable, detail-oriented team player who loves pets and being part of a fun, supportive team. They will have experience rooming patients, surgical assisting experience and knowledge of equipment used, drawing blood and running bloodwork, knowledge of x-rays and proper positioning, experience with proper animal handling and restraint, understanding the importance of client education, and being a positive and motivating team member.

Requirements

• 1+ years of veterinary experience is required
• Part-time position
• Knowledge of industry tools and equipment
• Passion for working with animals and their owners
• Experience with proper animal handling and restraint
• Positive team player willing to continue to learn
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Able to handle a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of care
