Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | Monday–Thursday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Friday 8:00 AM–2:00 PM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in alignment with patient needs, goals, and physician direction.
• Complete medical record documentation in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and payer guidelines.
• Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring functional treatment programs support effective return to community activities.
• Serve as an educator for patients, families, students, and coworkers; participate in student programs by providing supervision, developing learning objectives, and completing student evaluations as assigned.
• Adhere to the applicable State Practice Act and all regulatory requirements; maintain professional licensure in good standing and fulfill all state-mandated continuing education requirements.
• Actively pursue professional development through continuing education, self-study, and involvement in professional organizations; apply learned information to meet organizational objectives.

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in good standing in the state of Georgia (or eligibility to obtain).
• Required specialty focus in Orthopedics.
• New graduates are welcome to apply.
• Ability to complete documentation and goal writing in compliance with state, federal, and intermediary guidelines.
• Commitment to patient and employee safety standards including safe patient handling and infection control practices.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
• Familiarity with performance improvement methodologies and quality initiatives in a clinical environment.
• Experience supervising or mentoring Physical Therapy students.
