This is a 13-week contract position.

\n\nSchedule\n

8 hours per day, 5 days per week. General start time between 7:00 AM and 8:30 AM. Weekend rotation every 4 weeks.

\n\nJob Description\n

The Physical Therapist will be responsible for providing high-quality therapy interventions to patients in a Med Surg Acute setting. The role involves evaluating patient needs, developing and implementing treatment plans, and assisting patients in their rehabilitation journey. The therapist may be required to float to other units as needed.

\n\nResponsibilities\n

\n Conduct patient evaluations to assess physical therapy needs.\n Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments.\n Implement therapy interventions as prescribed.\n Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary.\n Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient care.\n\n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n

Candidates must be a licensed Physical Therapist in the state of Mississippi with acute or hospital experience preferred.
