Job Description\n

The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) will utilize evidence-based practices to provide rehabilitative treatment for patients with physical functioning disorders. The PTA will work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to ensure effective patient care and compliance with regulatory and clinical requirements.

\n\nResponsibilities\n

\n Administer various rehabilitative procedures, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, and modalities.\n Assess patient progress and adjust treatment plans in coordination with the supervising Physical Therapist.\n Communicate treatment outcomes and any barriers to progress to the supervising Physical Therapist.\n Document all patient-related information accurately in the electronic documentation system.\n Participate in required meetings and training sessions to ensure continued professional development.\n Supervise and support students under the guidance of the Physical Therapist.\n Maintain adherence to the APTA and state-required practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics.\n\n\nSchedule\n

This position offers flexible 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with consistent hours to be communicated with the Director of Rehabilitation.

\n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n

\n 1+ years of Physical Therapist Assistant experience (required)\n Experience in long-term care (LTC) or rehabilitation settings (required)\n Active Physical Therapist Assistant license (required)\n New graduates considered with adequate Level II clinical experience\n\n\nWhy ARMStaffing?\n
