Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking an experienced Pediatric Physical Therapist for a travel assignment at a Magnet-designated acute care hospital in Anchorage, Alaska.
This role supports both inpatient and outpatient pediatric populations, requiring a strong background in developmental therapy, acute care rehab, and pediatric functional mobility.
POSITION OVERVIEW
This assignment is ideal for Physical Therapists with pediatric and acute care experience who are comfortable working across multiple care settings and treating a wide range of pediatric diagnoses.
ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
• 13-week contract
• Day shift 5x8s
• Hours: 08:00–16:30
• Weekend requirement: 1–2 weekend shifts per month
• Floating required between inpatient and outpatient pediatric services
• No call required
COMPENSATION
Because travel rates change frequently based on market demand and facility needs, our recruiters provide the most current and competitive pay packages during your initial conversation. Each compensation package is customized and may include taxable hourly wages along with tax-free stipends when applicable.
CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Evaluate and treat pediatric patients across inpatient and outpatient settings
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on developmental and functional needs
• Perform gait training, strength testing, and mobility interventions
• Provide family education and safety training
• Utilize adaptive equipment and assistive devices
• Document evaluations, goals, and progress in Epic EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary pediatric care teams
WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Magnet-designated acute care hospital
• Level II Trauma Center
• 407 staffed beds
• Pediatric inpatient and outpatient therapy services
• Epic charting system
• Free parking
