Mercy Hospital Joplin is seeking a full-time Radiation Oncologist to join our well-established Commission on Cancer accredited cancer center in Joplin, Missouri. Mercy Joplin is a beautiful 240 bed hospital with integrated cancer center focused on individualized care for cancer patients.
Mature practice - treating approximately 25 patients per day
Staff: 1 RN, 1 prior authorization, 3RTT's (1 supervisor), I PhD physicist, 1 CMD, and the Director.
CoC accredited comprehensive community cancer program
Nurse Navigators involved in cancer care, Oncology Social Worker
Multidisciplinary tumor board on site weekly
Radiation Oncology Department is adjacent to Oncology and the Infusion Center with onsite pharmacy
Cancer Center has its own dedicated parking lot
Active Research program
Teaching Affiliation with Kansas City University with ability to have medical students in clinic with a stipend
