• Located just outside of Little Rock, Arkansas, Alotian is a private single owner club that opened in the fall of 2004

• Club opens 3 rd weekend of March and closes January 1 st
• National and Local Membership
• 3 cabins on property for use by members and guests
• 6,800 rounds of golf per year

JOB PURPOSE

The position will assist with the management of daily golf operations, supervising golf staff, assisting with all merchandising functions, managing tournaments, coordination of reservations, and providing professional services to the members and their guests of The Alotian Club to ensure an exceptional golf experience.

Essential Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

DAILY FUNCTIONS

• Provide the best possible customer service and professional advice to the members of The Alotian Club and their guests in conjunction with other departments.
• Complete the requirements of PGA membership and maintain an active classification in the PGA of America.
• Maintain and operate Golf Shop responsibilities as directed by the Head Golf Professionals.
• Maintain a high level of playing ability.
• Provide golf instruction consistent with instructional methods, policies and procedures.
• Supervise, schedule and train Golf Shop personnel, outside services and caddie program as directed by the Head Golf Professionals and Golf Services Manager.
• Assist in the purchasing, receipt, display, inventory, control, promotion and sales of merchandise.
• Assist in planning and budgeting for the golf operations.
• Be informed on all arrivals to the facility, club activities and services The Alotian Club provides.
• Reservation coordination of all golf bookings and transportation services to include scheduling and staffing on a daily basis.
• Manage the handicap program.
• Assist in managing tournaments.
• Keep golf shop and office neat and clean at all times.
• Manage the club repair operation.

Work Environment

• The staff at Alotian have a friendly work environment and want each other to thrive professionally and personally.
• Season Schedule:
  • Six days a week during peak season, appx: 120 days of the year
  • Five days a week outside of peak season
  • Four days a week during closure January-March
• Ability to play in several Section Events throughout the year.

Benefits

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary: $60,000-$65,000
• Lessons: $1,000-$6,000
• Christmas Bonus
