Description

• Assists the Director of Agronomy/Golf Course Superintendent in the operation of the golf course & landscape maintenance, water systems and Reverse Osmosis system of the Club.
• Plan and schedule maintenance of golf courses' equipment and team members to optimum efficiency.
• Plan and instruct equipment operators in the operation and care of mowing and other equipment.
• Assist in keeping records of daily maintenance activities, greens records, chemical and fertilizer applications as required by law.
• Assist in planning, laying out, and supervising minor construction projects and course additions.
• Assist in interviewing, hiring, training, coaching, and developing team members.
• Assist in conducting performance reviews and improvement plans.
• Attend seminars, conferences, and educational opportunities and stay abreast of current industry standards.
• Manage the facilities in compliance with company policies and all local laws and regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Plan and supervise the mowing, watering, and maintenance of golf courses and ensure golf course and team members are utilized with maximum efficiency.
• Supervise the planting, fertilization, and maintenance of turf.

• Possess turfgrass management or related degree.
• 5 years or more of experience in golf course management.
• Possess experience in operating irrigation systems and ability to calibrate and operate sprayers.
• Strong attention to detail and be passionate about the golf course maintenance industry.
• Strong leadership skills with an emphasis on continued improvement.
• Strong understanding about safety awareness and Health & Safety practices.
• Able to train, motivate and manage a diverse staff team.
• Good command of spoken English and Cantonese

• Able to work a varied schedule, including working in early mornings / nights and weekends.
• Outdoor work and proficient in operating machine/equipment is necessary.
