Ridgemoor Country Club is a private, 18-hole golf facility located just eight miles from downtown Chicago. Established in 1905, the club features an original William Langford design. In 2014, Ridgemoor underwent a comprehensive renovation led by Jacobson Golf Course Design, which included the reconstruction of all tees and bunkers using Better Billy Bunker technology. The renovation also involved installing three USGA greens and regrassing all greens, tees, and fairways with 007 bentgrass. In 2025, the club upgraded its infrastructure by installing a new Toro irrigation system and pump station with Lynx control, ensuring "wall to wall" coverage across the course. Currently, Ridgemoor is collaborating with architect Craig Haltom to implement a property-wide Master Plan.

The Second Assistant Superintendent will play a key role in managing daily crew activities and scheduling. Working closely with the Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent, the successful candidate will help develop and implement short-term and long-term agronomic strategies for the maintenance of the golf course. Responsibilities will include overseeing chemical and fertilizer applications, preparing the course for play, scheduling and repairing irrigation systems, managing projects, and planning and executing routine maintenance tasks.

• Experience in irrigation repair, disease identification, and water management.
