Description

1. Review and validate the daily mark-to-market P&L for the respective trading desks.
2. Report the validated daily P&L on timely basis.
3. Work with Trading, Middle Office, Operations and IT teams to resolve P&L issues.
4. Conduct monthly IPV on derivative products.
5. Participate in month-end closing process to finalize the P&L.
6. Provision calculation.
7. Work with Entity Controllers to reconcile Product Control P&L against the accounting ledger.
8. Participate in the new product approval process and conduct UAT testing.
9. Work on ad-hoc P&L analysis request from senior management.
10. Participate in ad-hoc projects to enhance control and improve efficiency.
11. Generate ideas to streamline current process and enhance controls.

1. Degree in accounting, finance or a relevant business discipline
2. Over 5 years of direct Product Control experience in an Investment bank or related audit experience in Big 4 Audit Firm.
3. Basic knowledge on financial products and derivative instruments.
4. Self-starter with strong control mind set
5. Ability to work under pressure with tight deadline.
6. Good communicator and able to work with various stakeholders in front office and supporting functions effectively
7. Positive and proactive character with the drive to come up with ideas and make positive changes.
