Private Duty RN
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide one-on-one care for a geriatric stroke patient in a private residence. This role is ideal for a nurse who values consistency, discretion, and elevated standards of care, and who is comfortable working independently while collaborating with a dedicated care team.
Position Highlights:
- 1:1 patient care
- 12-hour shifts (day/night)

Core Responsibilities
Clinical Excellence
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care aligned with the patient’s individualized care plan
- Perform advanced assessments and proactively identify changes in condition
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and attention to detail
Patient-Centered Care
- Support daily living needs while preserving dignity and independence
- Provide calm, attentive, and compassionate care
- Build a trusting, respectful relationship with the patient and family
Care Coordination
- Communicate effectively with physicians, specialists, and family members
- Ensure continuity and consistency across all shifts and caregivers
Documentation & Accountability
- Maintain clear, accurate, and timely clinical documentation
- Uphold high standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion
Requirements
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license, in good standing
- Minimum 5–7+ years of clinical nursing experience required
- Strong preference for backgrounds in:
- Geriatrics
- Private duty or home health
- Complex or chronic care management
