Overview

The position is responsible for starting golfers and maintaining pace of play on the golf course. This is a seasonal position with approximate dates of May 15th through November 15th, depending on weather and other circumstances. The club is hiring both full-time and part-time employees.

Experience Required

• Must have a friendly and positive personality.
• Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be dependable and have a strong work ethic.
• Always maintain a professional image.
• Knowledge of the game of golf is preferred.

Essential Responsibilities

• Organize groups on the first tee, maintain the tee schedule, and keep records of cart numbers, turn times, and finish times.
• Communicate to players regarding golf cart traffic, pace of play expectations, and care of the course.
• Communicate vital information about golf cart traffic regulations, course rules, and etiquette.
• Serve as a point of contact with all players regarding course conditions and the day's pace of play.
• Ensure each group is aware of the pace of play policy and what is happening on the course ahead of them.
• Perform duties as assigned by the Director of Golf and/or manager.
