Description
Opportunity InformationWe are seeking an experienced Physician Assistant (PA) to join our Interventional Pain Management and Spine team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing pain conditions, particularly spine and musculoskeletal conditions, and have an interest in identifying appropriate patients for opioid-sparing pain management interventions (epidural steroid injections, nerve blocks, radiofrequency ablations (RFA), peripheral and spinal cord stimulation, minimally invasive lumbar decompression (MILD), among others.) The physician assistant will work collaboratively with physicians to deliver comprehensive patient care.
This is a full-time position (1.0 FTE), providing an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive environment focused on improving patient outcomes in pain management. The clinic is part of a thriving multi-disciplinary medical group, and the interventional spine and pain clinic works collaboratively with orthopedic and neurosurgery to provide comprehensive care. Patient and referral base stems from the Medicare and commercially insured populations of the greater East Bay. The clinic does not treat work related or personal injury related conditions.
Requirements
• Active Physician Assistant licensure in California.
• Experience in pain management, orthopedics, physiatry, or spine care.
• Strong clinical skills in patient assessment and care management.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
