Now hiring both full time and PRN.
Full time - $27-$37 an hour, based on years of experience.
PRN - $35-$42 an hour, based on years of experience.

- Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluation and direction our physical therapy service as well as it programs and activities as direct.
- Assist in interpreting physical therapy policies and procedures to personnel residents, family members, etc. as necessary.
- Participate in discharge planning, development and implementation of resident care plans, resident assessment.
- Initiate individual restorative program for residents in conjunction with the residents' plan of care.
- Brief resident of procedures involved in physical therapy and prepare necessary equipment.
- Reassure resident before and during therapy treatment.
- Be alert to resident's response to treatment. Notify therapist immediately for assistance if required.
- Assist residents in ambulatory training as directed.
- Demonstrate to resident and nursing personnel, as necessary, the use of medical appliances involved in physical therapy. (e.g., wheelchairs, crutches, canes, braces, and prosthetic)
- Create an environment and a culture that enables the facility to fulfill its mission.
- Must document changes and follow up on condition.
Education:
- Graduate of School of Physical Therapy Assistant
- Minimum of three months recent experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant working in a nursing home environment preferred.
- State of Florida Physical Therapy Assistant License
- CPR Certification
