Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Outpatient Orthopedics
Physical Therapy Specialists is a therapist-owned private practice serving Central Florida. We are seeking a compassionate, motivated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our outpatient orthopedic team in Davenport, Florida.
Our clinic treats a wide variety of orthopedic conditions, post-operative patients, balance disorders, sports injuries, and active adults. We pride ourselves on providing high-quality patient care in a supportive environment where therapists are valued and have direct access to ownership.

Responsibilities:
- Deliver skilled physical therapy treatment under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Progress therapeutic exercise programs
- Perform therapeutic activities and functional training
- Complete accurate and timely documentation
- Communicate effectively with patients, therapists, physicians, and staff
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while providing exceptional patient care
Requirements
Job Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current Florida PTA license or eligibility for licensure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the clinical team
- New graduates are encouraged to apply
- Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred but not required
