Description

The Pediatric Physical Therapy Assistant is responsible for providing direct treatment programs as established and directed by the Physical Therapist and consistent with the regulations governed by the MA Board of Registration in Physical Therapy. The PPTA will serve as an active team member for the implementation of a comprehensive, interdisciplinary therapeutic program to address the specific needs of the student. The long term goal of all therapy provided will revolve around maximizing independence and safety of the student. The PPTA will be responsible for keeping accurate and current records, including Medicaid grids/progress notes, as well as attending all required meetings.
