OB/GYN Opportunity in Macomb, Illinois - $500K Base, 4-Day Workweek
This is a rare full-scope OB/GYN opportunity in a welcoming university town in central Illinois, with a newly renovated women's center, strong CNM support, and a schedule that actually gives you your time back.
The Role
- Full-scope OB/GYN practice including prenatal care, routine and complex GYN, and in-office procedures
- 4-day workweek with two dedicated OR block mornings and clinic running Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
- 20 to 28 clinic visits per day with a CNM taking first call 10 days per month; you cover complicated deliveries and C-sections
- Required call of 7 to 10 days per month with a 30-minute response time; additional call days compensated at $2,000 to $2,500 per day
- MFM-trained sonographer in clinic; MFM reads all second and third trimester ultrasounds
- Cerner EMR with remote fetal monitoring access from home
The Facility
- Newly renovated women's center opened in 2020 with 3 state-of-the-art LDR suites, 7 private postpartum suites, and a dedicated triage and procedure room
- Level II Nursery with pediatric and neonatal coverage
- Anesthesiology available on-call 24/7; onsite surgical team with 20-minute response for emergent cases
- Established MFM relationships and perinatal network partnerships for higher-level transfers
Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary of $500,000
- Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance available
- Health insurance, retirement, CME allowance, and malpractice with tail coverage
You'll Need
- MD or DO, Board Eligible or Board Certified in OB/GYN
- Comfort with full-scope OB and GYN including surgical cases
- Interest in practicing in and contributing to a close-knit community
