We deliver employer-based primary care focused on whole-person health, not occupational medicine. This full-time role is based on-site at A.O. Smith in Ashland City, TN, with a consistent Monday through Friday schedule. You will provide comprehensive primary care, build ongoing patient relationships, and partner with the onsite occupational health nurses by offering clinical support and oversight.

A.O. Smith: 500 Tennessee Waltz Parkway, Ashland City, TN 37015
Monday - Friday: 7am-4pm
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver the highest quality Primary Care services including:
- Wellness and Preventative Physical Exams
- Acute care of minor illness and injuries
- Chronic Disease Management and Longitudinal care
- Minor procedures (suturing, splinting, incision/drainage, etc.)
- Lifestyle and well-being counseling
- Medical management of behavioral health conditions

Required Qualifications:
- One of the following licensures with Full Practice Authority (FPA):
- Certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the ANCC/AANP
- Certified Physician Assistant through the NCCPA
- Active DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) registration
- Current CPR certification
- 2+ years of clinical experience working as a Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant providing services in primary care, family medicine, internal medicine, ambulatory, emergency and/or urgent care setting(s)
- Experience using computers for professional communication
- Experience using Electronic Health Record systems for medical documentation
- Experience seeing patients ages 18+
- Ability to work onsite at A.O. Smith
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using Athena EMR for medical documentation
- Proven ability to work autonomously in a clinical setting
Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $109,500 - $164,000. Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus and is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
