| Job Summary | The Night Operations Assistant (NOA) provides overnight support for residence hall operations, serving as the primary staff presence during late-night hours. This role is responsible for monitoring building access, maintaining front desk operations, responding to safety and community concerns, and ensuring compliance with University Housing policies and procedures. Working independently, the NOA collaborates with on-call staff and campus partners to address incidents, escalate concerns, and support a safe and secure residential environment. The position also includes documenting overnight activity, assisting residents with questions or concerns, and connecting students to appropriate campus resources when needed. Overall, the Night Operations Assistant plays a critical role in promoting safety, accountability, and continuity of care within the residential community during overnight hours. This position is a seasonal appointment that runs from August through May each academic year and does not require annual reapplication, contingent upon satisfactory job performance and continued operational need. Student Success will, from the time of early college outreach to graduation and beyond, support students in living a life of meaning and purpose. From a student-centered framework, our practice will be grounded in peer-reviewed literature, national best practices, and data-informed decision making. Collaborating with the campus and community, Student Success will work through a holistic lens to support a community of learners in achieving success. Multiple positions available. |
