Locums Neurosurgery Physician in South Carolina - 7 Day Blocks, Light Call Volume

Structured 7-day coverage blocks offer predictable scheduling with time off between assignments. This call-focused role features manageable consult volume and general neurosurgery cases without a heavy daily workload.

Practice & Cases

• Inpatient neurosurgery call coverage
• General neurosurgery cases including cervical, lumbar, degenerative disease, abscesses, and intracranial hematomas
• Adult patient population
• Average of 1 to 3 consults and 0 to 2 emergency cases per day

Schedule

• 24-hour call coverage
• Seven consecutive days of coverage per month
• Coverage needs from October through December
• Additional block opportunities may become available

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Board Certified in Neurological Surgery
• Active South Carolina license required
• ACLS certification and DEA registration required

Logistics

• Approved hotel accommodations provided during coverage
• Standard rental car included for assignment travel
