Overview

Westin Kierland Golf Club is seeking a driven individual for a fast-paced, hospitality-focused retail role within the golf shop. The Merchandise Assistant supports the retail operation and contributes to guest service and merchandising standards.

Experience Required

• High school education or its equivalent.
• Six months to one year of related experience and/or training.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Frequent bending, turning, kneeling, and stooping.
• Computer skills with Point of Sale (POS) systems and Microsoft applications.
• Ability to multi-task, including answering phones, greeting members, answering questions, selling, and placing special orders.
• Available to work weekends and holidays.

Essential Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the retail operation for the golf shop.
• Conduct monthly inventory counts.
• Greet guests upon arrival into the golf shop.
• Prepare merchandise for the sales floor.
• Assist in creating and receiving purchase orders.
• Help maintain golf shop cleaning standards.
• Maintain a professional appearance.
