Description

California OB Hospitalist locums, with predictable 5 to 7 day blocks and 24 hour call while on site, ideal for physicians who want clean time off between stretches.

Practice Setting

• Inpatient OB coverage model with solo in house coverage for the inpatient service
• Support available from other MDs and APPs who are primarily clinic based, can be pulled in when clinically necessary
• Documentation transitioning to Epic, currently on Cerner with Epic planned for August

Schedule

• 8 to 10 days per month, ongoing coverage
• Typically structured as two blocks per month, 5 to 7 days each
• 24 hour call coverage for each day on assignment
• Includes one weekend per month

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Active California medical license required, facility will not wait for licensure
• Credentialing timeframe is approximately 60 days
