Locums Internal Medicine Physician in Peoria, Illinois - No Call, Low Volume

Care for a primarily Medicare-aged patient population with no call responsibilities and a manageable daily volume. This outpatient role is supported by a team-based care model with strong clinical resources.

Practice & Cases

• Outpatient clinic focused on preventive and chronic disease management
• Management of diabetes, hypertension, heart failure, and coronary artery disease
• Primarily patients age 65 and older
• Full support from medical assistants, scribes, registered nurses, and advanced practice providers

Schedule

• Monday through Friday clinic schedule
• Daytime hours from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Full-time outpatient coverage
• Ongoing weekday assignment

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Active Illinois license required
• DEA registration required

Logistics

• Mileage reimbursement provided
• Drive-in candidates preferred
