Hematology/Oncology locums in California with a 4-day clinic week option and low-volume call, mostly phone consults.

Highlights

• 4-day work week, 40 hours total with built-in admin time
• 24-hour call on a 1:4 rotation, low volume, and primarily phone-based
• Longer-term coverage need due to team transition, consistency for you and the patients

Practice Setting

• Adult Hematology/Oncology, inpatient consults plus outpatient follow-up
• Broad oncology diagnoses and hematology consultative care
• Daily volume ramps from about 10 patients to about 18 once established
• Charting with EPIC, Dragon, and Bridge

Schedule

• 4 days per week
• 36 scheduled patient care hours plus 4 hours of administrative time weekly
• 24 hour call rotation 1:4, Tuesday morning to Tuesday morning

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology or Board Eligible within 5 years
• Active California license required
• Credentialing typically takes 60 to 90 days, with 3 peer references
