Description
The ideal candidate is highly organized, thrives under pressure, and has substantial experience supporting litigation attorneys through all phases of active cases. Responsibilities include prepare, proofread, format, and finalize legal pleadings and discovery for civil litigation cases, including motions, oppositions, and briefs. E-file documents in multiple jurisdictions. Manage court deadlines, hearing dates, and scheduling notices. Prepare hearing binders, deposition materials, and exhibits. Maintain well-organized electronic case files. Provide general administrative support to attorneys including scheduling, calendaring deadlines, and coordinating travel. Act as a point of contact for vendors and clients as needed. Triage urgent tasks and be available to work overtime when deadlines demand it.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience in a litigation-focused legal assistant or secretary role. Strong knowledge of litigation procedures and court filing protocols across Nevada and Federal courts. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to stay calm and organized under pressure with strong prioritization skills.
