About the club.... Designed in 1969, Delray Dunes Golf & Country Club is the first of Pete Dye's designs in Florida. Delray Dunes offers men's, women's and junior golf associations with a calendar of events throughout the season. The golf course and practice facility were renovated by Scot Sherman in 2024.

In addition to the pristine course, Delray Dunes has exceptional teach and practice facilities consisting of a wedge game area with four targets, chipping green with practice bunkers, a large putting green, as well Toptracer range technology.

Membership to Delray Dunes is currently full with a waitlist. We are unique in the fact that we have a diverse membership with young, middle and retired aged families.

About the position.... We are looking for a motivated, service-oriented Golf Professional to join our team. This individual will play a key role in delivering an exceptional golf experience to our members and guests. The ideal candidate is passionate about the game, committed to providing first-class service and has a strong desire to advance into their first Head Professional position.

Experience Required

Below not required but helpful in determining candidate.

PGA Associate or Member with the goal of advancing in the golf industry

5+ Years of Private Club experience

Golf Genius - Tournament Operations / GHIN Software

Teaching and Club Fitting experience

POS Software knowledge

Foretees and or Tee Time management software

Essential Responsibilities

Assist in daily management of golf operations, including tee sheet oversight, member services and outside operations.

Assist with supporting golf staff and outside service personnel to ensure high standard of service.

Coordinate and execute tournaments, member events and leagues.

Promote club programs, events, and instructional offerings through club software programs.

Teaching and club fitting to members of all skill levels and ages.

Support and assist with merchandising operations especially with hard goods.

Assist with pace of play guidelines and management.

Playing golf with membership and in Section events.
