Tarpon Interventional Pain & Spine Care is a premier private practice located in Plano. We are seeking a fellowship-trained Interventional Pain Physician to join our established and highly respected practice, which continues to experience significant patient demand.

Requirements
Qualified Candidates
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school
- Valid unrestricted Texas Medical License and Board Certified in AMPMR
- Valid and unrestricted DEA
- Completed Interventional Pain Fellowship
- Ability to work independent
- Proven experience in a clinical pain management setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Interest in business operations and future practice ownership
- Experience with personal injury cases and on all major payer panels
Collaboration and Communication
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physical therapists, psychologists, and surgeons, to provide comprehensive care for patient
- Communicate effectively with patients, explaining diagnoses, treatment options, and expected outcomes
- Educate patients on pain management strategies, lifestyle modifications, and self-care techniques
Compliance and Quality Improvements
- Adhere to regulatory guidelines and standards in pain management
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
- Stay current with advances in pain management through ongoing education, attending conferences, and participating in professional development activities
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including patient histories, examination findings, treatment plans, and procedural notes
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with acute and chronic pain conditions
- Develop individualized treatment plans utilizing interventional and non-interventional approaches
- Perform pain managment procedures (e.g., epidural steroid injections, nerve blocks, radiofrequency ablations, joint injections, Intracept, IFuse, and spinal cord stimulator trials)
- Prescribe and manage medications responsibly in accordance with regulatory guidelines
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
