St. Peters Hospital is seeking full time Nurse Practitioners (NPs) or Physician Assistants (PAs) to join the days/weekend track Hospitalist team in Albany, NY. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well established, collegial hospital medicine program within a physician friendly environment supported by strong system resources. 

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical judgment, the ability to work independently with physician support as needed, and effective collaboration across the care team. 

Position Details: 

• Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and management of critically ill adult patients, including bedside procedures, physical exams, and diagnostic testing. 
• Rounding on an average of 15 patients per shift 
• Work collaboratively with Hospitalist physicians to complete admissions and consults from the ED and discharge planning  
• Provide routine clinical support to floor physicians as needed 
• Demonstrate leadership, adaptability, and strong multitasking skills 
• Weekend Track Days / Evenings - 12 hour shifts Sat, Sun, Mon (1872 hours annually) 
• Hours: Either 7:30a-7:30p OR 12p - 12a depending on scheduling needs

Qualifications: 

• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license (NY State or eligibility). 
• New grads encouraged to apply

Recruitment Package: 

• Base Salary: $122,578.56 to $144,649.44 per year commensurate with experience 
• The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and does not include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. 
• Starting Bonus: $5,000
