Clarke University invites applications for a Graduate Assistant Coach position in the men's volleyball program.  Earn your Masters Degree as you also grow your coaching career.

Clarke University invites applicants for a Part-Time Assistant Coach position in the men's volleyball program.  Gain valuable coaching experience with a part time and very flexible schedule. 

Responsibilities for both positions will include assisting with the operation and management of the sports program in accordance with university and NAIA philosophies.

For GA applicants, a bachelor's degree is required and admittance into a one of the graduate degree programs. 

For Assistant Coach applicants a bachelor's degree is preferred.

Requirements

Work with the head coach in some or all areas of...

• Recruitment of prospects
• Designing and running practices
• Film study and creating scouting reports
• Individual and positional player development
• In game management.
• Program administration and logistics: travel, budgeting, fundraising, communication, scheduling
• Oversee team's strength and conditioning program and be able to work with strength coach.
• Monitor and oversee player mental management and mindfulness routines and programs.
• Statistics and analytics

Hours are flexible during the Fall/Winter.  Travel to away contests and team events is required.  You will get the opportunity to learn and grow in whatever aspects of coaching that you would like.  If head coaching is a future goal of yours, we will help you achieve that.  Previous playing and/or coaching experience is required.
