Description
We are looking for a Finance Assistant on an initial 6 month fixed-term contract. On a part time, this role will be reporting into the Finance Manager. The successful will support the day-to-day financial operations of the business, helping to maintain accurate financial records and ensure the smooth running of the finance function.Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily finance and accounting activities.
- Process invoices, expenses, bank reconciliations, petty cash, and credit cards.
- Support with some month end closures, including journals and reconciliations
- Support accounts receivable and purchase ledger activities.
- Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports.
- Assist with VAT compliance and year-end audit preparation.
- Provide general support to the Finance Manager and wider finance team.
- Can commit to 20-22 hours per week, solely in office.
- Previous experience working within a bookkeeping/finance support role.
- Experience using systems such as Sage, Xero or QuickBooks.
