A nonprofit, community-based healthcare provider with 9 locations is adding a Family Medicine Physician. Serving rural northern Maine and operating a network of health centers across Aroostook, Penobscot, and Piscataquis counties. We deliver care to more than 20,000 residents, many of whom are in underserved or remote areas.About the Opportunity:
- Monday-Friday work week
- Patient-centered medical home
- On-site pharmacy
- Services include physical and occupational therapy, chiropractic, massage, optometry, dental, and acupuncture
- Staff include MDs, NPs, and PAs, Social workers, and strong support staff
- Athena EMR
- Manageable patient census
- Robust salary compensation with a full benefits package
Community/Location:
- A small, rural town in Piscataquis County with a population of around 4,000 residents
- This area is known for its scenic setting along the Piscataquis River and its role as a regional service hub for surrounding communities.
- Located about 35-40 miles northwest of Bangor, it offers a quieter lifestyle while still providing essential amenities, including grocery stores, schools, healthcare facilities, and local businesses.
- Outdoor recreation is a major draw, with nearby lakes, trails, and year-round activities such as fishing, hiking, and snowmobiling.
