Overview

Purpose of Position:

The Associate in Training position primarily interacts with public play along with members and their guests. The person in this position ensures that every step of the member and guest experience at the club is enjoyable.

This position is unique in that there is potential for year-round employment, full or part time hours, and may be able to accomodate a flexible schedule. Hours range from 6:00 AM - 7:30 PM in an indoor customer-service environment.

Experience Required

*Ensure all members & guests are greeted and welcomed in a professional and courteous manner.

*Provide assistance & information to members & guests.

*Answer telephone to schedule future tee times and communicate information in a pleasant and professional manner.

*Accurately operate point of sale system

*Communicate effectively with other departments at the club, including daily radio use with golf staff.

*Assist in the development of standards and maintain responsibility for cleanliness and appearance of golf shop storage areas and merchandise displays.

*Responsible for opening, closing, and securing golf shop and storage areas using established procedures.
