Position Summary
Job Description
Basic Function
Assistant to volleyball coach in all aspects of an Old Dominion Athletic Conference Division III women’s volleyball program
Duties and Responsibilities
Specific Responsibilities:
Assist the head coach in day to day operations of the team and program
Assist in practice planning and court set up
Assist in positional instruction as defined by the head coach
Evaluate post practice and game situations
Assist in recruiting
Coordinate team travel with head coach supervision
Other related duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
Coaching experience of at least 3 years required.
Bachelor's degree required.
Preferred Qualifications
Skills and Qualifications:
Collegiate playing or previous collegiate or high school coaching experience of at least five years required. The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic and the desire to work in a Division III environment.
Master's degree preferred.
