Located in Savannah, GA, Crosswinds Golf Club is a premier 27-hole public golf facility featuring an 18-hole Championship course and a 9-hole Par 3 course. Crosswinds Golf Club opened in the year 2000. We have TifEagle Bermuda greens and 419 Bermuda tees, fairways and rough. We are a high-volume operation committed to providing an outstanding golf experience.

Toro irrigation system with new computer and all satellite boxes replaced in 2024. Full equipment fleet is all Toro and Cushman. Modest overall maintenance budget adjusted annually.

Our facility also includes a newly renovated lit Toptracer Driving Range, opened in Fall 2024. Crosswinds Golf Club has been owned and managed by Gallea Golf Properties LLC since March 2010. Gallea Golf Properties LLC is single owner with currently 2 golf courses. Head Superintendent will report to Crosswinds Golf Club General Manager. No member board.

Job Summary

• Assist with the overall maintenance of the entire Crosswinds Golf Club property.

Job Accountabilities

• Assist and manage the daily opening and closing of the maintenance facility and all associated opening and closing procedures.
• Assist with the management of the daily setup and maintenance of the golf course.
• Assist with ensuring that all equipment is running and being serviced properly on a daily, weekly, monthly and yearly basis.
• Assist with the management of any hourly maintenance workers on a daily basis.
• Report any issues to the Head Superintendent.
• Stands in for Head Superintendent if he is not on property.
• Assist with ensuring that all consumable items are ordered when necessary using proper PO procedure.
• Assist with ensuring that all maintenance tools and equipment are fixed or replaced when necessary using proper PO procedure.
• Assist with ensuring that the maintenance facility and equipment are kept clean and organized at all times.
• May be required to assist with special projects or the general maintenance of any other Gallea Golf Properties property.
• Continue to learn about daily, weekly, monthly and annual application of all chemicals, fertilizers and fungicides.
• Working toward obtaining Chemical Spray License.
• Operates various types of hand tools.
• May assist other workers.
• Performs other duties as assigned or requested.

Job Qualifications

• Minimum Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent preferred.
• Minimum Experience: 1-3 years of job related experience preferred.
