Description
Bonita National Golf & Country Club is excited to announce the exceptional career opportunity of an Assistant Restaurant Manager. Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service. This position is for the poolside cafe, not the main clubhouse dining room.Bonus:
$250 Signing Bonus, $250 Retention Bonus after 90 days of full-time employment.
Key Responsibilities of the Assistant Restaurant Manager:
- Organize and conduct pre-shift meetings to review specials, menu changes, house counts, etc.
- Ensure that the restaurant and restaurant facilities are kept clean, well-stocked and organized; check the maintenance of all equipment in the restaurant and schedule needed maintenance and repair
- Circulate throughout the restaurant facilities and kitchen areas to visually monitor and take action to ensure food quality and service standards are met
- Greet guests at tables to ensure complete satisfaction and attend to guest needs
- Ensure established cash handling procedures are utilized to accurately charge customers
- Create revenue forecasts and reports; monitor restaurant budget
- Oversee daily restaurant activities to include serving tables, bussing tables, seating guests, room service and general clerical/cashier duties
- Interview, hire, train, plan, assign, and direct work; evaluate performance; reward and discipline associates; address complaints and resolve problems
- Manage department members that may include, but are not limited to: Food and Beverage Supervisor, Host, Server, Cashier
- Assure that effective orientation and training are given to each new associate; develop ongoing training programs and test for comprehension
- Incorporate safe work practices in job performance
Minimum Requirements for the Assistant Restaurant Manager:
- Associate's degree (AA); or six months to one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Meets state age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages
Other Qualifications:
- Regular and reliable attendance
- Alcohol Awareness Training, Food Safety and appropriate sanitation training
