OverviewDeertrak Golf Club, located just north of Oconomowoc, WI, offers a picturesque 18-hole course known for its beautiful scenery and challenging layout. We are a golfer-centric facility focused on providing top-tier service to our members, league players, and public guests. We pride ourselves on a welcoming atmosphere and a well-maintained course.
Essential Responsibilities
Golf Operations & League Management:
- Golfer Experience: Manage the pro shop counter, ensuring efficient check-in, accurate tee sheet management, and a welcoming environment for all guests.
- League Coordination: Act as the primary liaison for league secretaries and players; manage weekly league logistics, scoring, and handicapping.
- Outings & Events: Assist leadership in the planning and execution of golf outings, ensuring carts are staged, scorecards are ready, and events run on schedule.
- Merchandise: Maintain a clean and organized pro shop; assist with inventory and sales.
Clubhouse & Food Service:
- F&B Operations: Oversee the daily operation of the clubhouse bar and grill, ensuring quick service for golfers making the turn or finishing their round.
- Food Preparation: Prepare and serve standard clubhouse menu items (grill/fryer) efficiently while upholding food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Inventory Control: Track inventory levels for beverages, snacks, and kitchen supplies to prevent shortages and minimize waste.
Supervisory & Administrative:
- Team Leadership: Assist in supervising part-time staff (cart attendants, counter staff), ensuring tasks are completed and club policies are upheld.
- Financials: Handle daily opening/closing procedures, cash drawers, and daily reporting.
- Problem Solving: Handle customer inquiries or complaints with professionalism and resolve operational issues as they arise.
