Rockport Country Club is seeking an enthusiastic, customer-focused Assistant Golf Professional to join our team. Experience Required

Qualifications

• Positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for hospitality and the game of golf.
• Previous golf shop, customer service, or golf operations experience preferred.
• Experience with golf tournament software is a plus.
• PGA Associate or PGA Member preferred, but motivated non-PGA candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible hours during the golf season.

Essential Responsibilities

Position Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service to members and guests.
• Manage the daily operations of the golf shop.
• Coordinate tee times and oversee golf cart operations.
• Assist with tournament planning, scoring, and event administration.
• Merchandise, stock, and maintain an attractive golf shop.
• Process retail sales and daily financial transactions.
• Assist with club fittings, merchandise displays, and inventory management.
• Help promote golf events, leagues, clinics, and member activities.
• Enforce club policies and maintain pace of play.
• Provide golf instruction (preferred but not required).
• Support the Head Golf Professional in all aspects of golf operations.
