Position Overview

The La Quinta Country Club is seeking TWO (2) energetic, service-oriented Seasonal PGA Professional or Associate to join our golf operations team for the upcoming season. This position is ideal for a motivated golf professional who is passionate about delivering exceptional member experiences, growing the game, and contributing to a premier private club environment.

The Seasonal PGA Professional will assist with all aspects of golf operations including tournament management, member services, merchandising, instruction, and daily golf shop operations. The ideal candidate demonstrates professionalism, strong communication skills, and a positive, team-first attitude.

Experience Required

Qualifications

• Passion for hospitality and member engagement
• PGA Associate or Class A PGA Member preferred
• Previous private club experience strongly preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Knowledge of golf tournament software and golf shop POS systems
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and extended seasonal hours
• Professional appearance and demeanor

Essential Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service to members and guests in all golf operations areas
• Assist with pace-of-play management and first-tee operations daily
• Assist with daily golf shop operations, tee sheet management, and POS systems
• Support tournament operations including setup, scoring, and results
• Coordinate and assist with member events, outside tournaments, and seasonal programming
• Maintain merchandising displays and inventory controls
• Enforce club policies while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere
• Collaborate with outside services staff and golf course maintenance teams
• Represent the club professionally both on and off the golf course
