The Neuse Golf Club is a semi-private club located just minutes away from the Triangle featuring an 18-hole championship golf course designed by John LaFoy, which has achieved outstanding accolades over the years. The Neuse, long recognized as one of the best courses to play in the state, has most recently received recognition from  Golf Digest  as being ranked in the top five golf courses for course conditions and in the top 10 courses for service in the state of North Carolina. Year after year,  Golf Digest  has awarded the course a 4-1/2 star rating. Experience Required

• Must have strong customer / guest service skills
• Must have solid supervisory and leadership skills, be well organized and detail-oriented and have strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional knowledge of the game of golf
• Experience executing successful golf tournaments and charity outings
• Preferred experience in golf shop merchandise promotion / sales.
• Must have computer and tournament software skills and experience
• 1-3 years of golf industry experience preferred
• PGA Member or Associate working to complete membership

Essential Responsibilities

• Working with the Head Golf Professional, supervise and train pro shop staff and outside services staff
• Monitor guest experience and take appropriate action to assure the best customer service
• Working with the Head Golf Professional, coordinating and administer the daily work schedule of the pro shop staff
• Order and display merchandise for sale in the pro shop in conjunction with the Head Golf Professional
• Process customer reservations for guests of the golf course
• Assist in coordinating of individual, group, and tournament play as directed by the Head Golf Professional
• Works closely with Marshall and Starter to monitor all aspects of play including starting, monitoring pace of play, safety on the course and golf course markings
• Perform other related duties as assigned
• Provide lessons and programs for all categories

Estimated Compensation

•        Compensation rate will be determined by experience

•        Total potential compensation - $28,000 to $30,000
