Seasonal Assistant Golf Professional

Blue Hill Country Club is seeking an energetic, customer-focused Seasonal Assistant Golf Professional to join our golf operations team for the upcoming season. This is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring golf professional to gain valuable experience at one of the area's premier private clubs while working in a fast-paced, member-focused environment.
Position Overview

The Seasonal Assistant Golf Professional will play an integral role in delivering an exceptional golf experience for our members and guests. Responsibilities include supporting all aspects of daily golf operations, tournaments, merchandising, instruction, and member services.
Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service to members and guests.
• Assist with daily golf shop operations, including tee sheet management and point-of-sale transactions.
• Coordinate and execute tournaments, outings, and club events.
• Support merchandising, inventory management, and shop presentation.
• Assist with junior golf, ladies' programs, clinics, and instructional events.
• Help manage outside operations and ensure a smooth pace of play.
• Enforce club policies while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
• Perform opening and closing golf shop duties.

Qualifications

• Previous golf operations or customer service experience preferred.
• PGA Associate or PGA Member status is a plus but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive attitude with a team-first mentality.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of Golf Genius and Jonas Club Software is a plus.

Schedule

Weekend availability is mandatory.

Candidates must be available to work Saturdays, Sundays, holidays, and tournament weekends throughout the season. Flexible weekday scheduling is available based on operational needs.
