Overview

An Assistant Golf Professional is a key member of the golf facility's operations team, working under the Head Golf Professional / Director of Golf to help manage the golf shop, oversee daily golf operations, and provide customer service to members and guests.

Experience Required

• Preffered Experience in Foretees & Jonas Software (training is provided)
• Golf Genius Tournament Software (Must understand the software and how to operation it efficiently)
• Outlook mail
• Microsoft Office (Excel, powerpoint & word)

Essential Responsibilities

• Greeting members and guests
• Checking golfers in for tee times
• Managing tee sheets and reservations
• Answering phone calls and emails
• Selling merchandise (apparel, clubs, balls, accessories)
• Operating the point-of-sale system
• Handling daily opening and closing procedures
• Maintaining displays and inventory
• Processing special orders
