Overview

Riverton Pointe Golf & Country Club is seeking an Assistant Golf Professional to support the Head Golf Professional in the daily operations of a premier golf program. The club operates a year-round golf program with peak seasons in the spring and fall, hosts approximately 33,000 rounds annually, and offers a full calendar of traditional member events.

Experience Required

• PGA Associate in/or through level 1.
• Previous experience as an Assistant Golf Professional.
• Ability to thrive in a hospitality environment.
• Strong focus on providing superior customer service.

Essential Responsibilities

• Assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of golf tournaments and special events, including tournament setup, scoring, and administration using Golf Genius software.
• Organize, run, and actively participate in weekly member games to promote engagement, camaraderie, and enjoyment of the game.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with members and their guests by providing a high level of service and personalized engagement.
• Provide individual and group golf instruction to players of varying skill levels, including ladies' and senior golf programs.
• Collaborate effectively with the golf operations team, course maintenance staff, and management to ensure smooth daily operations and an exceptional golf experience.
• Oversee daily golf shop operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and maintaining a professional retail environment.
• Support and promote ladies' as well as men's leagues, events, and programming to encourage participation and member engagement.
• Ensure the golf course and practice facilities are presented in excellent condition throughout the day.
• Deliver outstanding customer service while fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment for all members and guests.
