Overview

Carolina Golf Club is a Donald Ross designed private Golf Club located minutes from downtown Charlotte. CGC was the Stroke Play Co-Host for the 2018 U.S. Men's Mid-Amateur Championship.

Salary will commensurate with experience.

Experience Required

Class A PGA Professional or Apprentice

2-3 years experience at a Private Club

Essential Responsibilities

This individual will be involved in all aspects of the Golf Operation from interacting with members and guests, Golf Shop Operations, Tournament Operations, Teaching, Club Fitting, Outside Operations, Merchandising, Starting, Rangering, Men's, Ladies and Junior Golf Programs.

• Manage and coordinate daily Golf Operations
• Opening and closing the Golf Shop
• Must possess strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a high volume operation.
• Must maintain positive and helpful attitude
• Be proficient with Golf Genius
• Assist with Outside Operations which includes: Practice Facility, Bag Drop, Bag Room & Guard House.
• Assist with receiving products, merchandising, inventory management and shop sales.
• Responsible for being familiar with retail merchandise and assisting in sales, explaining product features to customers.
• Handle special orders in a timely manner.
• Outgoing personality and shows great attention to detail and follow up.
• Communicate with all other departments
• Maintain golf game to play with members
• Represent the club in Carolinas PGA Section Tournaments.
