Overview

The Assistant Golf Professional supports the daily golf operations of the golf facility. This role assists annual pass holders and guests, helps with golf shop activities, tournaments and events, golf shop merchandising and ensures an exceptional customer experience. The assistant golf professional will also have the opportunity to provide golf instruction on his or her own time. The assistant golf professional works closely with the Head Golf Professional and golf operations staff to maintain high standards of service and course operations.

Essential Responsibilities

* Assist with the daily operations of the golf shop and golf facilities.

* Provide outstanding customer service to annual passholders, guests, groups and tournament participants.

* Manage tee times, player check ins, and pace of play

* Organize and assist with events, groups and tournament outings.

* Consuct individual and group golf instruction.

*Maintain merchandising displays and inventory control in the golf shop.

* Process sales transactions and handle cash management responsibilities.

* Enforce club policies, golf etiquette, and safety standards.

* Coordinate with grounds, food and beverage and clubhouse staff to ensure smooth operations.

* Open and Close golf operations facilities as assigned.
