**Position Overview:** Sioux City Country Club is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Intern Assistant Golf Professional who will contribute to our tradition of excellence and ensure memorable experiences for our members. This role involves collaborating in numerous club activities, from organizing tournaments to fostering customer relationships. **

The position would be seasonal from June 1 - September 7th.

Experience Required

- Flexible scheduling with availability to work 45-55 hours per week during peak season.

• Strong proficiency in golf-related software technologies and Microsoft Office.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on building and maintaining member relationships.
• Demonstrated ability to handle diverse responsibilities with professionalism and discretion.

Essential Responsibilities

- Plan and organize club golf tournaments, events, and outings, focusing on member participation and enjoyment.

• Manage daily operations within the golf shop, ensuring exceptional service standards.
• Assist in overseeing the outside services program, maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, service, and professionalism.
• Utilize software technologies like Golf Genius, Microsoft Office applications, and POS systems to streamline operations.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, emphasizing relationship building and member satisfaction.
• Exhibit strong communication and organizational skills, adeptly managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Provide top-tier golf instruction to members, catering to all skill levels.
• Engage in rounds of golf with members and guests to foster community bonds.
