Description
OverviewWorks closely with the Head Professional to manage the day to day golf operation. You will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional golf experiences to our members and guests. Reporting directly to the Head Golf Professional, you will assist in managing daily golf operations, providing outstanding member service, and fostering a welcoming and professional atmosphere within the golf department. Your expertise, leadership, and passion for the game will contribute to the overall success of our club and making "raving fans".

Experience Required
- PGA Member or Level 1 Associate; or equivalent combination of education & experience.
- Proficient in tournaments, Golf Genius & other key software platforms for the position.
- Experience with Club Essentials preferred.
- Knowledge of the Rules of Golf.
- Teaching experience preferred.
Essential Responsibilities
- Qualified candidates first and foremost must have excellent customer service and communication skills, be a team player, and have a passion for golf.
- Assist in the organization and execution of all aspects of golf operations, including tee time management, golf shop merchandising, tournament coordination, and practice facility supervision.
- Ensure that all members and guests receive prompt, courteous, and personalized service. Address inquiries, resolve issues, and exceed expectations to enhance the overall golf experience.
- Support the Head Golf Professional in developing and implementing programs to enhance player skills, including clinics, private lessons, and junior golf initiatives. Foster a supportive and inclusive environment that encourages participation and growth among golfers of all levels.
- Assist in managing inventory, pricing, and merchandising within the golf shop. Provide knowledgeable product recommendations and ensure a visually appealing and well-stocked retail environment.
- Lead by example and provide guidance and support to golf shop staff, outside services team members, and teaching professionals. Foster a positive and cohesive team culture focused on delivering exceptional service and exceeding performance goals.
- Collaborate with the golf course superintendent/turf team to ensure optimal playing conditions and communicate conditions and restrictions to the membership.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling, budgeting, reporting, and record-keeping.
- Promotion of Club Events and Memberships: Act as an ambassador for the club by promoting upcoming events, membership opportunities, and amenities to members and guests. Encourage participation and engagement in club activities and initiatives.
- Work Holidays and weekends.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
