Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Assistant Golf Professional to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering outstanding service and enhancing the overall golf experience at our club.

The Assistant Golf Professional will assist in managing the day-to-day golf operations, including member services, tournament administration, golf instruction, merchandising, and pro shop management. This individual will play a key role in promoting the game, maintaining high standards of customer service, and fostering a positive club atmosphere.

Experience Required

• PGA Associate or PGA Member preferred (or willingness to work toward PGA certification).
• Previous experience in a private club or high-end golf facility preferred.
• Strong golf playing ability and passion for the game.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in tournament software (Golf Genius preferred) and point-of-sale systems.
• Knowledge of golf equipment, apparel, and merchandising.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Essential Responsibilities

• Assist with daily golf operations, including tee sheet management, pace of play, and member relations.
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a welcoming environment for members and guests.
• Conduct private and group golf lessons, clinics, and junior golf programs.
• Assist with organizing and executing member tournaments, events, and leagues.
• Assist Head professional with pro shop operations, including merchandising, inventory control, and sales.
• Enforce club policies, rules, and etiquette to ensure an enjoyable golf experience.
• Maintain and manage golf cart fleet and practice facilities.
• Support the Handicap Committee and assist members with GHIN-related inquiries.
• Collaborate with other staff members to enhance the overall golf program and club operations.
