Description
OverviewRich in history and tradition, Eldorado Country Club is a premier, member-owned club in the desert. Nestled in a picturesque cove at the base of the Santa Rosa Mountains in Indian Wells, California, it provides a stunning backdrop for all club activities. Since 1957, members have enjoyed world-class facilities, strong camaraderie, and exceptional service.
Founded in the late 1950s, Eldorado quickly became one of America's distinguished social and sporting clubs. Its uniquely sheltered, nearly windless location was chosen for both beauty and playability. The course and clubhouse debuted in 1959, hosting the Ryder Cup that same year. President Dwight D. Eisenhower was an early visitor and, along with Mrs. Eisenhower, maintained a winter home along the 11th fairway.
This legacy-shaped by historic events and notable members, including five U.S. Presidents-continues to define Eldorado's culture. Today, members come from across the U.S. and around the world, with membership offered by invitation only. The club's guiding principle remains: "Our membership is the difference."
Over the past 25 years, Eldorado has invested more than $75 million in capital improvements. Current projects include a 21,000-square-foot Spa & Fitness complex featuring pools, a café, bocce courts, treatment rooms, retail space, and a salon. The original course, designed by Lawrence Hughes, was reimagined in 2003 by renowned architect Tom Fazio. Alongside its exceptional golf and athletic amenities, the club offers outstanding dining with panoramic mountain views.
The Assistant Golf Professional plays a key role in daily golf operations, including instruction, tournament coordination, and golf shop management. Working closely with the Head Golf Professional, this position helps ensure an exceptional experience for members and guests.
This is a seasonal position, running from November through April.
Our Golf Professionals have a hand in every part of the operation. From tournaments to merchandising, you will learn as much as you would like. No specialization here. My goal is to prepare you for the next chapter in your career.
