Overview

Kensington is a private, member-owned and financially stable Club conveniently located in the heart of Naples, FL. The centerpiece of our Club is the beautifully maintained Robert Trent Jones, Jr. golf course where we are always tournament ready. The golf course has been fully restored as of November 2021. Kensington is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional with the ability to provide a high level of personalized service to all members and guests. Duties will include assisting in coordinating golf events, providing golf instruction and assisting with daily operations. The successful candidate must be enthusiastic, motivated and possess an excitement for the golf business. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone seeking growth as a Golf Professional at a high end private faciliy. There will be ample opportunity to teach private lessons and clinics as well as play golf with the Kensington members.

Experience Required

* PGA/LPGA member or PGA Associate (Level 1)

* Golf Shop experience preferred

* Bachelor degree preferred but not required

* Experience with Golf Genius

* Knowlegable of the Rules of Golf

* Demonstrate competent playing ability

* Must bring positive energy on a daily basis

* Must have excellent communication, computer and customer service skills

Essential Responsibilities

*Assist Professional Team in all aspects of the golf operations

*Work harmoniously with all members and staff -- this includes both the golf staff and the staff from other departments

* Assist in coordinating all golf events

* Assist with daily golf shop activities

* Assist Director of Retail with merchandising activities and inventory control

* Play golf with members

* Monitor pace of play when necessary

* Enforce Club rules and regulations

* Must have a complete understanding of Kensington's Mission Statement and Core Values
