Description
OverviewCADDIEMASTER is seeking a full-time Golf Caddie Management Training Program Apprentice at Black Desert Resort in Ivins, Utah. This role offers a unique opportunity to begin a career in caddie management at one of the most exciting new destinations in golf.
The position combines hands-on experience as an Assistant Caddie Manager with a structured 6-week apprenticeship program focused on leadership development, operations, and service excellence. Candidates will work alongside experienced managers while learning CADDIEMASTER's systems, standards, and approach to delivering premier caddie programs.
This is an entry-level, growth-focused role with a clear path to advancement into a Caddie Manager position. Candidates must be mobile and willing to relocate within the first 3-12 months.
Experience Required
- Basic knowledge of the game of golf
- Passion for the golf industry and service excellence
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Willingness to relocate and adapt to varying schedules
Essential Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily management and execution of caddie operations at a premier resort facility
- Recruit, train, schedule, and support caddies to ensure a high level of service and professionalism
- Act as a liaison between golfers, caddies, and club staff to enhance the overall guest experience
- Participate in a structured 6-week apprenticeship program including virtual training, assignments, and leadership sessions
- Learn and apply CADDIEMASTER systems, procedures, and service standards
- Foster a positive team culture built on communication, accountability, and professionalism
- Monitor daily operations including pace of play, caddie performance, and service delivery
- Support administrative responsibilities such as scheduling, reporting, and operational coordination
